Hi folks! Welcome on my website.
Here you can find information on my research and teaching activities.Â
I am Assistant Professor of Economic Policy at University of Calabria (Italy). I received a PhD in Economics from University of Calabria (Italy) as well as a MSc in Economics with specialization in International and Macroeconomic Policy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
I work at the intersection of Applied Econometrics, Public Economics, and Political Economy. Drawing on administrative microdata, I study how politics and fiscal policy interact to shape economic and social outcomes. My research has examined electoral cycles in fiscal outcomes, the determinants of tax compliance and budget forecast errors, and the estimation of fiscal multipliers. More recently, I have been involved in projects on the economic drivers and consequences of gender-based violence.
