Hi folks! Welcome on my website.

Here you can find information on my research and teaching activities

I am Assistant Professor of Economic Policy at University of Calabria (Italy). I received a PhD in Economics from University of Calabria (Italy) as well as a MSc in Economics with specialization in International and Macroeconomic Policy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

My research interests lie in the fields of Applied Econometrics, Public Economics, and Political Economy. A common thread connecting these fields is my focus on the analysis of fiscal policies, where I primarily rely on administrative microdata. To date, I have worked on topics such as the impact of electoral outcomes on local public spending and the relationship between tax rates and tax evasion/compliance. More recently, I am involved in projects investigating the economic determinants and consequences of gender violence.
